The west coast has been in a slump in the music game for a hot minute. We haven't had national success since Suge Knight was slapping cat around and the Dr. Dre Detox project hasn't seen the light of day..yet!! But don't get it twisted we have a stable of new talent like Jay Rock, Glasses Malone and Problem that got heat, but can't get no major love.
Is it west coast hate or, are we not making relevent music that the masses want to hear? You tell me cause I have my own opinion about this subject and it may shock you!!
But here's some new music by the legendary DJ Quik and Kurupt off their new "Blaqkout" album. let me know if this can bring the west out its slump.
